Stella Polaki
My relationship with movement began at an early age.
I grew up involved in a wide range of physical activities — from ballet and traditional dance to team sports such as volleyball and basketball, athletics, and fitness training.
Movement was always part of my life, but it was Pilates that truly changed the way I experienced my body.
I discovered Pilates after my first pregnancy and immediately felt its impact.
After just a few sessions, I noticed how differently my body moved and felt — with more support, awareness, and ease.
That experience led me to explore the method more deeply.
With a background in physiotherapy, understanding the body and its mechanics came naturally.
Over the past 18 years, I have been teaching Pilates while continuing to learn, because the more you work with the method, the more you understand the importance of detail, precision, and conscious movement.
For me, Pilates is not about pushing limits.
It is about learning how to live in a body with less pain, fewer restrictions, and greater freedom of movement — and this is exactly what I aim to offer through my teaching.
